Classys Norfleet is the sire of Ollie Norfleet. He was a 1981 Sorrel Overo Stallion sired by Mr. Norfleet and out of Classys Dancer. Classys Norfleet was raised by Stan and June Dunwiddie of Prior Lake Minnesota. Mr. Norfleet was an APHA Champion, an APHA National Champion in Halter and Western Pleasure.... the same year!! Classy was out of Mr. Norfleet's first foal crop.... along with Eternal Norfleet... also raised by Stan and June Dunwiddie. His dam, Classys Dancer was an appendix quarter horse by AQHA Champion Classy Charge and out of Totentanz, a throughbred.
Pauli worked for the Dunwiddies when she lived in Minnesota... rode Classys Dancer in AQHA shows... earning a number of Hunter Under Saddle points. She also rode Eternal Norfleets dam, Eternals Image to a National Championship in Hunter Under Saddle. Stan & June sent Classy to Indiana to be shown by Pauli. After a very successful show season as a yearling, Kenny and Pauli Crull purchased Classy in 1982. Kenny & Pauli showed Classy as a 2 year old, earning 31 halter points, 2 Grands and 9 Reserves and 3 Western Pleasure points. Then at the APHA National Show in Oklahoma City. in 1982... Classy foundered.. no more showing... to make a long story short... Classy went on to be a great sire.. he was the APHA #1 Leading Sire of APHA Champions and ROM Earners in 1989 and in 1990 he was second to Sonny Dee Bar and Mr. Norfleet. Classys Norfleet was put down in August of 1990 due to complications for founder....
